Minnie L. Houston, 98, of Quincy, Florida, peacefully departed this earthly life on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Quincy, Florida. She was born on September 28, 1927, in Quincy, Florida, Gadsden County, and was a lifelong resident of the community she loved and served so faithfully.
Minnie was educated in the Public Schools of Gadsden County and accepted Christ at an early age, later becoming a devoted and faithful member of St. Hebron A.M.E. Church, where she remained committed throughout her life.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring the life and legacy of Minnie L. Houston will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Hebron A.M.E. Church in Quincy, Florida. Interment will follow at St. Hebron Church Cemetery in Quincy, Florida. Viewing and visitation will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy, Florida.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory two devoted daughters, Joyce Houston Willis of Quincy, Florida, and Senocia Faye Houston Lewis (Kimmie) of Quincy, Florida; four beloved grandchildren, Keysha Willis of Atlanta, Georgia, Marquise Houston of Quincy, Florida, Kierra Lewis of Quincy, Florida, and Kayla Lewis of Atlanta, Georgia; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, and dear friends who will forever hold her legacy in their hearts.
Professional services are entrusted to Bradwell Mortuary, 18300 Blue Star Memorial Highway, Quincy, Florida 32351.
