A 91-year-old woman was killed in a house fire on West Clark Street Monday night, according to the Quincy Fire Department.
Firefighters were called to the 800 block of West Clark Street just after 9:15 p.m. and arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.
Once the fire was extinguished, crews found a body inside the residence. A department spokesperson identified the victim as 91-year-old Serina Lofton.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating how the fire started.
