Last week, the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office participated in a career day at George Munroe Elementary School. Sheriff Morris Young and his staff, along with the sheriff office’s Juvenile Services Division and Criminal Investigations Division provided informational pamphlets and coloring books to the attending school children. In addition, Captain Anglie Holmes and Deputy Stephanie Brown presented a short, informal talk with the students about Bullying and Emergency 911 calls. Sheriff Young said he appreciates the opportunity for his deputies to participate and interact with children throughout the county, stating that “our young people are the future leaders of our country.”
