Sonja Wilson-Lewis is Gadsden County Teacher of the Year

Sonja Wilson-Lewis has taught in schools all over Gadsden County, but this is her first recognition as Teacher of the Year. Pictured, from left to right, is Steve Scott (school board member District 2) Charlie Frost (school board member District 4), Cathy S. Johnson (school board member District 1), Sonja Wilson-Lewis, Leroy McMillan (school board member District 3), and Gadsden County Superintendent Elijah Key, Jr. Not pictured is West Gadsden Middle School Principal Valerie Jones.

Teaching is something that Gadsden County educator Sonja Wilson-Lewis was always supposed to do – she just didn’t realize it until later in life.
