Woman dies in single car crash on I-10

A Gadsden County woman is dead after a single vehicle crash this past weekend.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the vehicle was traveling west on Interstate 10 near mile marker 181 in the inside lane.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway to the left before overcorrecting to the right, the report says.
This caused the vehicle to cross the center line and begin rotating in a counterclockwise manner.  The vehicle exited the roadway to the right and struck several trees on the north shoulder. The vehicle came to a final rest facing a southerly direction.
The driver, who has since been identified as 27-year-old Tamia Gainous was pronounced dead at the
Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office, Gadsden County Fire Rescue and Gadsden County EMS.
