Greenshade-Dogtown holds fireworks show in memory of former assistant chief

The firefighters of the Greenshade-Dogtown Volunteer Fire Department helped host the fireworks show at 5F Farm. This year, the show was set in memory of former Assistant Fire Chief Rev. Roderick Whitehurst, who passed away in January. Pictured, from left to right: Fire Chief Kirk Douglas, Betty Atkins, Tim Bryant, and Patricia Clayton.

The Fourth of July is always something special for residents of Gadsden County, but this year was incredibly special.
