All the way across the world, an act of violence in Kabul that killed 13 American service members, has made an impact on the small town of Havana, in Gadsden County.

The table lists nine schools and the overall district grades from the 2021-22 through the 2025-26 school years. Gadsden Elementary Magnet School shows a consistent 'A' grade and Crossroad Academy shows a consistent 'B'. Greensboro Elementary shows an 'A' grade for four years before dropping to a 'D' in 2025-26. All other schools, as well as the overall district grade, consistently received a 'C' grade every year.
