CAT TALES: A Tale of Two (Very Different) Kitties

Yes, my cats have a litter box. Yes, they use it although Beebe prefers to have me get up, let him out, and wait for him to do his business and then let him back in. My bad knees do mind this. I really don’t mind cleaning the litter box, but I do mind cleaning up the piles of litter they kick out of their box when doing their hygienic cover-ups. I also mind cleaning up the litter they track from one end of the screened in porch to the other. It doesn’t stop there. Those delicate little paws track litter into the house where it is less discernible. You may be visiting with your minister and notice a few tiny crystals of sparkling blue litter right near where his feet are placed on your living room floor. It is perfectly clean, but embarrassing. It’s hard to concentrate on his remarks when you’re really interested in where he’s going to move his feet.
