On February 8, the Crossroad Academy Varsity Boys Basketball Team traveled to Jefferson County, Florida and put the sting on the Aucilla Christian Warriors with a dominant final score of 74-27. Thursday night’s basketball standoff was a FHSAA District 1-A Tournament, and the Scorpions were in it to win it with no doubts. The Aucilla Warriors were no skill match and did not have a chance against the Crossroad Academy Scorpion team. The game proved to be a challenge for the Warriors who struggled and were unable to score the points needed to keep up. While the Warriors took home a defeat the Scorpions advanced on to another tournament game against the Franklin County Seahawks.
