Gadsden County youth participate in Chick Chain event

Escorted by Gadsden County 4-H agent Evie Blount, several Gadsden County youth attended a recent Chick Chain competition. Pictured, from left to right, are: Thomas Howell, Eleanor Paulus, Bryson Howell, Evie Blount (Agent), Jack Nemeth, and Roger Nemeth.

Raising livestock is a crucial part of being a youth in a 4-H program, and Gadsden County’s youth got a chance to ‘stretch their wings’ and show their skills at a recent Chick Chain competition held in a neighboring county.
