Jean Perry Edwards, born in Bradenton, FL, on July 30, 1938, left this earthly plane on July 22, 2025. Retired from the Gadsden County Probation Office, she called the Pewter Farm in Sawdust, FL, home for 64 years.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the chapel of First Baptist Church, Quincy, FL, immediately followed by a Celebration of her life at 11 a.m.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, H. Marcus Edwards. She is survived by four loving children: Kay, Paul, Beth, and Perry (Tina) Edwards, five grandchildren: Jackson Fowler, Hannah Edwards, Henry Edwards, McKenzie Merkison, and D.J. Merkison, sister Deta Perry, cousin “bonus sister” Norma Bowls, cousin Dale Perry (Cathy), and a host of other family and friends.
