Head to Havana for WoodFest this Saturday

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Look no further! Havana’s WoodFest is back, and it’s going to be a day filled with creativity, community, and craftsmanship. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. WoodFest will be buzzing with excitement in Havana, so bring your friends, family, and neighbors to join in the fun. Prepare to be amazed as John Birch, a skilled wood carving artist, showcases his incredible talent by transforming raw wood into stunning masterpieces. The festival will also feature an array of artistic displays, from beautiful paintings and drawings to handcrafted wooden jewelry and unique furniture. WoodFest is more than just an art showcase. Explore a bustling marketplace where vendors will be offering a variety of woodcrafts, furniture, local crafts, and other enticing goodies. Plus, there will be delicious food vendors, so you can grab a bite while you shop. Also check out the recently renovated Slappey building while you’re there. This event is free, so there’s no reason to miss out. Whether you’re an art lover, a woodcraft enthusiast, or just looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone at WoodFest. If you’re a vendor interested in participating, head over to www.havanamainstreet.com/woodfest](http://www.havanamainstreet.com/woodfest) for more information about applications.
