Igniting the Spirit: St. James Missionary Baptist Church hosts annual revival

Rev. Dr. Cleveland Lynn III, Pastor of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, is bringing his passion for winning souls to the forefront as he leads the church’s annual revival from August 19th to 21st at 7 P.M. at 177 Hovey Smith Rd., Quincy, FL. A man of deep faith and a successful entrepreneur, Elder Lynn channels the promises of God’s goodness in both his spiritual leadership and business endeavors.
This year, Pastor Lynn is teaming up with the powerful and dynamic Rev. Terrence D. Milton, Pastor, Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church, who will deliver a revival message centered on Prayer, Worship, and Hope, aimed at winning more souls for Christ.
With 35 years of ministry experience, Pastor Lynn has been a dedicated soul-winner since the age of 18. Now in his 8th year as Pastor of St. James, he also serves as the Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lloyd, FL, and previously led United Life Ministry Church in Tallahassee. His commitment to the ministry is reflected in his dual roles, shepherding both congregations with unwavering devotion.
The revival will kick off on Monday night with a prayer meeting, setting a spiritual tone for the days ahead. Pastor Milton will take the pulpit on Tuesday and Wednesday, delivering powerful sermons, with praise and worship led by the St. James choir. Ms. Karisha Williams, a devoted member of St. James, invites the community to join in this spiritual celebration and experience Pastor Milton’s inspiring message firsthand. The strong bond between St. James and Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church is evident, as members from both congregations actively support each other’s ministries.
As summer fades and fall approaches, this revival offers a timely opportunity to nourish your soul. Pastor Lynn draws strength from Psalm 23, a scripture that has guided his life and ministry:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Pastor Lynn’s dedication to dwelling in the house of the Lord has propelled him to serve as a leader not only in his churches but also in the community. As the owner of Cleve’s Auto Center and Lynn Hadley Mortuary, he embodies the spirit of servant leadership. His vision for St. James is to expand God’s kingdom by welcoming new members and providing spiritual nourishment to all.
Pastor Lynn and First Lady Felecia Lynn warmly invite everyone in the Gadsden County area to join St. James Missionary Baptist Church for this impactful annual revival.
