CAT TALES: A Tale of Two (Very Different) Kitties

October has arrived and along with it the beginning of some cooler weather. I love the heat but noticed that the cats slept their way through the whole summer. Therefore, with the advent of the new weather system, I expected a change in those cats’ activities levels. As I opened windows and doors to let in all this lovely fresh air, I checked the screened- in porch and its overflowing toybox to watch my felines play. No such luck. Beebe lay sprawled out on his back all four paws in the air snoring away on the new plush cushioned chair. Momau, much more ladylike, was demurely curled on a mat by the fountain sleeping soundly. Obviously the two of them had not heralded in the new season at all. These were their sleeping positions all spring and summer except when Momau was snoozing on the roof.
