Honoring Tamia Gainous: Gone too soon, but never forgotten

The sudden loss of a loved one leaves a profound emptiness, an ache that words often struggle to fill. For parents who must endure the unimaginable pain of burying their child, the emotional toll is immeasurable. Such was the grief that enveloped the family of Tamia Devonique Gainous, whose life was tragically cut short on August 10, 2024, just 20 days before her 28th birthday. In the face of this devastating loss, Tamia’s Aunt Regina found solace and strength in writing a letter that she imagined Tamia would share with her loved ones.
