DESTINATION: Tallahassee Museum unveils new art for endangered Red Wolf exhibit

The new Red Wolf sculpture, entitled ‘Just Settling In’ by Dale Weiler, and signage on display at the red wolf exhibit at the Tallahassee Museum.

An American red wolf canters across his habitat before stopping to sniff the ‘enrichment’ items Animal Curator Suzie Buzzo has provided for him at the Tallahassee Museum; the items include bones, a pile of green branches sprinkled with fish juice, stinky civetone, which is a musky pheromone sourced from the resident ‘Guest Animal’ on display at the museum – an African civet.
