Quincy, FL — After months of investigation, the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office (GSCO) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) have announced the arrests of four suspects in connection with the November 2024 double homicide of Kenwan Kilgore and Bre’Shawn Malone.
Sheriff Morris A. Young confirmed the arrests, which followed a coordinated effort among several law enforcement agencies. The investigation began on November 29, 2024, when GSCO deputies discovered two victims at a crime scene on Post Plant Road in Quincy. With assistance from FDLE, the investigation identified four suspects: Tanajee Dickey, Lakevyon Kinder, Ji’Michael Lawson, and Khaidyn Foreman.
Tanajee Dickey, 19, was the first to be arrested on March 11 by FDLE agents at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville. He faces a charge of first-degree murder.
On April 9, law enforcement executed a coordinated operation to apprehend the remaining suspects. Lakevyon Kinder, 19, and Ji’Michael Lawson, 19, were arrested in separate locations in Tallahassee by the U.S. Marshals North Florida Violent Fugitive Task Force. Both men are charged with two counts of first-degree murder. That same day, Khaidyn Foreman, 18, was arrested in Havana by FDLE and also faces two counts of first-degree murder.
In a press release, sheriff’s office officials said the investigation remains active and is being led jointly by GSCO and FDLE, with assistance from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
