Hosted by the Gadsden County Extension Office in partnership with local growers, the event will feature a diverse selection of plants suited for North Florida’s unique climate—helping residents enhance their gardens with vibrant, resilient greenery.
The plant sale will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gadsden County Extension Office, located at 2140 W. Jefferson Street in Quincy. A community favorite, the event brings together gardening enthusiasts, local farmers, and master gardeners eager to share their expertise and passion for plants.
Attendees will find a wide array of plants, including ornamentals, succulents, herbs, vegetable crops, fruit trees, and pollinator-friendly varieties. In addition to the sale, extension agents and master gardeners will be available to offer guidance on plant care, soil health, and sustainable gardening practices.
Families are encouraged to attend, as the event will feature a kid’s zone with interactive activities designed to engage young learners. Food vendors will also be on-site, offering a variety of refreshments to keep visitors energized throughout the day.
This annual event is more than just a plant sale—it’s an opportunity for the community to access high-quality plants, support local growers, and embrace eco-friendly gardening.
