The Quincy Music Theatre will premier an adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, based on the famous novel by the legendary Roald Dahl this weekend.
With influences from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, it is directed by Mikaela Georgi in her second directing role at Quincy Music Theatre. It is choreographed by Lynley Kendrick and music directed by Grace Holley, with an original score composed by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (of Hairspray fame) and a book by David Greig. It is the second major show of the QMT 2024-2025 Season.
